lifestyle portrait location
For a recent maternity shoot, I researched and found a beautiful spot for lifestyle portrait shoots. Antioch Marina
Located right on the water in Antioch, it provides a wide variety of environmental backgrounds, easy access, and a cool breeze on a hot summer day.
First you have the marina itself, with an eclectic collection of power and sail boats to provide that nautical motif.
And of course the marina is located right on the bay (probably technically the estuary, but who is counting?). So there are open water venues available.
And it is located next to a protected wetlands wildlife preserve. So there are abundant vistas of marsh grasses and weeds.
